History

TSP Construction was founded in 2001 by Todd Strode-Penny, a qualified carpenter who believes in providing a high-quality construction service.

TSP started working with residential and light commercial clients in Horowhenua, and soon expanded to the Kapiti Coast, and Manawatu.

TSP remains a New Zealand owned and operated family business. 

Culture

Todd started TSP because he has a passion for building. He’s hands-on with every project and enjoys working closely with each client, to provide a personal building experience and make their vision a reality.

That attitude echoes throughout the entire TSP team. Our team members are honest, reliable, and talented tradespeople, who back the TSP approach. We take on each client’s project with the utmost personal care and attention.

As a Kiwi owned and operated company, we are committed to providing opportunities for young people who show dedication and potential. We are proud to support our next generation through training and personal development in partnership with BCITO.

Our team strives for excellence in every project, and we are formally qualified to deliver it. We are Certified Builders, registered with New Zealand Certified Builders Association (NZCB). We make sure to stay involved and fully up-to-date in all building regulations, legislation, and best practices.

We understand New Zealand’s environmental conditions and the Kiwi lifestyle. All of our homes and commercial buildings use materials to withstand the New Zealand environmental conditions and meet earthquake standards.
